The Ottawa River Musky Factory is located on one of the most exciting and productive stretches of musky water in the world. We are halfway between Ottawa and Montreal in the Prescott-Russell region.

Less than 30 minutes in either direction of the Factory are many world class musky spots, both trolling and casting, that annually produces dozens of fat 50+ inch muskies.  Jim Saric (Musky Hunter magazine and television) called this section of the Ottawa River ‘The last bastion of pure musky fishing left in the world‘!

We offer single day trips, half day trips, or book as long a trip as you want.  For true trophy hunts we recommend bookings of 3 days or more.  For years we have boated muskies on over 80% of our charters. Weekdays offer less boat traffic on the river and are recommended if you have the option but Ottawa River waters have very little pressure in general.  No one has more experience, spent more time, or landed more muskies on the Ottawa River.  It’s not even close!

There are three top guides on staff including John Anderson, Mike Kadoura, and Lisa Goodier.  This allows us to accommodate larger parties and multiple bookings on any given day.

A strong focus of our services is teaching.  Whether you are brand new to the sport or a seasoned veteran who wants to learn the latest tricks, tips, and behaviors of muskellunge, we can help.  Learning to use the right equipment the right way not only makes for better casting, it keeps your body in top shape and avoids fatigue.  Teaching anglers the best handling and release practices based on the latest science and understanding how to read the signs of stress in muskies is also very important to us.
