The Ottawa River Musky Factory

The Ottawa River Musky Factory is located half way between the dams of Ottawa and Carillon, an 80-mile stretch of river. This allows us to fish different territories on a daily basis and hunt the big girls over vast areas.

We can accommodate the needs of all anglers. Casting, trolling, shallow, deep, at a tournament pace, at a crawl, from beginner to seasoned professional. We will strive to make your trip everything you want it to be. The Ottawa River has it all!

 welcome

Our facilities are located on the water on one of the most productive and exciting stretches of the Ottawa River.

Less than 30 minutes in either direction of the Factory are many world class musky spots, both trolling and casting, that ANNUALLY PRODUCE DOZENS OF FAT 50+ INCH MUSKIES!!!!!

Our preference is to book people for periods in excess of 3 days. This makes the likelihood of boating at least one giant musky good. The chances of catching at least one 50 inch fish over a seven day period are greater than 50 percent.

The Xtreme Wildlife Magazine [PDF 881 KB] carried a very complementary article on the Musky Factory and fishing on the Ottawa River. Thanks to author and artist Charles Weiss.

Check it out for some interesting photos and videos.

"John is imbued with the unique ability to make learning fun."

"John constantly impressed us with the manner in which he handled fish, spoke to the camera about catch and release and how important fishing ethics are for the future of the sport."
